Fileturn head office, Redhill
When designing an air-conditioning system for a newly refurbished office with a high-end finish, it needs to be discrete. This is exactly the ethos we used when long standing client, Fileturn, approached us to install a complete air conditioning system for its three-storey head-office in Redhill, Surrey.
Fileturn specialises in developing high quality interior fit-outs and Synecore has been fortunate to have worked with them on projects for many years. It was therefore crucial we created the perfect cooling and heating system for the company’s distinct work, meeting and leisure areas, as well as its machine rooms.
Synecore installed two Mitsubishi Electric City Multi R2 VRF systems with matching internal ceiling cassette fan coil units. Selected for its ability to simultaneously cool and heat different areas of the building for optimum working temperature, the City Multi R2 is up to 30% more efficient than conventional systems. While the internal cassette units provide high seasonal efficiency, advanced control options and quiet operation.
Fileturn’s whole system is managed by a new AE200 central controller, which automatically sets the optimum temperature for each individual area. This intelligent system measures and monitors energy consumption to improve running costs, the lifespan of the entire system and create the ideal temperature for the work place.
To minimise the visual impact of the installation over two floors, the interconnecting pipe work from the internal fan coils and condensers to the plant area were run along existing tray work above the grid ceiling and through external bespoke capping.
The discrete design and installation complimented both Fileturn’s requirements for a quality finish and the building construction perfectly.
