Project Outline:

Long standing Italian furniture brand, Lema approached Synecore to provide the complete mechanical and electrical installation for its first flagship store at 183 Kings Road, London.

Specialising in high quality and timeless understated design with precise construction, Lema required a showroom that embodied its brand values. Working with interior design experts, Ronzoni Architects, based in Italy, Synecore developed an electrical installation for the two story building, spanning 400 square metres and a complete heating, ventilating and air conditioning system that suited the interior’s minimalist charm.

In line with its contemporary and understated look Synecore designed bespoke suspended trunking to support the spotlights used to highlight the individual pieces of Lema furniture.

To maintain an ambient temperature throughout the showroom, Synecore installed two Toshiba 20kw High Static Ducted systems to serve the ground floor and basement via bespoke ductwork, designed by Ronzoni Architects.

“We used Toshiba’s most powerful VRF high pressure ducted units to the Lema showroom. They are incredibly flexible and compact, which is perfect for such a high-end development as this. With a static pressure of 68 to 196pa, its extremely efficient and will serve Lema and its customers well in the future” explained Gary Piper, Synecore’s air conditioning expert.

“Synecore not only understood the brief, but encapsulated the brands core attributes in its designs. The professional finish of the electrical and HVAC installation is flawless and the professionalism of the engineer’s onsite was exceptional throughout the build. I would certainly use the company again and recommend them to fellow retailers.”
